But I was hooked!! I went out the next day, after staying up all nite to finish LOL I couldn't put it down and bought all the books that led up to the one I had just read. When you write elle's story will that be the last of the drakes book or will you contenue to write as they have children and they grow into their gifts? I love this world you created so much and reading about the strong family ties and the witty interactions always cheers me up, esp. because my family is very far from that. I can't wait to read Elle'S book and am so looking forward to it but it also makes me very sad because it seems to be the last one. I can't believe after that we will have to say goodbye to the Drake Sisters and Sea Haven. Do you have any plans to continue this series? Chritine, My first book by you was Magic In The Wind. Since then I have read every book you've written. I just love it when Mikhail tells Gregory he's playing Santa and all the other guys were around posing as bugs.(HaHaHa) My other favorite is not just one book it's a character in the Drake Sisters Series . Ilyla was there on a few different occations to save one of the character's lives. He seems like a dark character , but it shows he does have a heart under the mask he puts on. I am really going to re-try the Carpathian novels as I relaized I had gotten into one of the books that was either number four or five and I want to read the series from the beginning. The part that i enjoyed the most is the changes that happen in the carpathian male instead of the female who always changes for him. And this point is understood by the male as to how difficult it is to let go of the identity they have had till then to become something because fate had a hand in it. I have always been a fan. Four years ago after my mother passed away, I became very ill. I had become so stressed out and in pain that I didn't know how bad I really was. I ended up in the hospital with septic shock. My husband told me it was iffy for awhile. I did recover but I was in constant , pain. I found out I had fibro- myolgia. It has taken me three years to get to were I have managable pain. Somedays I can almost beleive it is gone. If not for ypur books I don;t think I would have made it. I read every book that has come out. I used to read Silhouette and Harlequin Novels. But I alwaysl seemed empty inside when I finished those books. A friend of mine was reading Dark Desire and she told me to try and read one of your novels. I thought it was going to be the typical novels I have already read. I was totally wrong. The way you described everything out in your stories, I felt like I was there in the novel itself, seeing what they were seeing, feeling what they were feeling. It just totally blew me away. I am hooked now. I have read Dark Symphony, and I am now reading Dark Possession I am on Chapter 14. Now I find out that this is a series of numerous books. I am gonna have to start all the way in the beginning and start with book 1. But doing it is well worth it. Your novels when I read them, actually take me to another place in time. The Romance and how you describe it is just beautiful. The feelings, the intimacy..everything is perfect. I am very pleased that all of your books involve romance that ends in marriage or the equivalent, because I think that it something that is lacking in many of the books available today.
